How to Play

Play Word Master online for free. In Word Master, you must remove letters as fast as you can to form a valid English word. You can make more than one word for every jumbled set of letters. Challenge yourself in 3 game modes. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin the standard mode of the game.
- Select the calendar button to the left of the play button to start the daily challenge.
- Select the infinity button to play the infinite mode of the game.
- Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
- Your web browser automatically saves your high score and your statistics.

    - With your mouse:
      - Left click on a letter to remove it.
      - Left click on the back button to undo the letter you just removed.
      - Touchscreen devices
        With your fingers:
        Tap on a letter to remove it.
        Tap on the back button to return a letter you previously removed.
        Controls and indicators
        The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the top row. From left to right they are as follows:
        X button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen
        Timer and score
        Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
        Game Play
        Basic rules
        Remove letters to form valid English words.
        Left click or tap on a letter to remove them.
        You can make more than one word from each jumbled mix of letters.
        The words can be proper nouns and plurals.
        You can put back letters you recently removed using the arrow button.
        Finish the word as fast as you can. The timer on the top row will gradually contract.
        If you run out of time, you lose.
        Scoring
        In general, the longer or more obscure the word, the higher its total score.
        Some letters will have bonuses if you incorporate them into the word. These will be shown on the top right of the letter.
        Game modes
        Levels:
        Unlocking
        You start the game with only the first level unlocked.
        Levels are unlocked sequentially. You must finish one level to play the next.
        You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
        There are 30 levels in this game.
        Gameplay
        You have 10 words to unlock.
        Gain a rating based on how well you perform:
        Each game has a level rating based on stars.
        The more points you earn from each level, the higher your score.
        Each level has a highest possible score based on the words you can form.
        Infinite
        Keep finding as many words as you can.
        The game ends when you run out of time.
        Daily
        Each day, you get a special set of words to find.
        It takes several hours before you can play this mode again.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple word games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
