Play Forty Thieves Solitaire online for free. Forty Thieves Solitaire is a 2-deck game of Solitaire where players can build down in descending order on the tableau and must build 8 suited foundations in ascending order. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the Play button on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the difficulty select screen.
- Easy: You can move cards already in the correct sequence as a group & you can redeal the stock.
- Casual: Only one card at a time can be moved, but you can redeal the stock.
- Normal: Only one card at a time can be moved and you can not redeal the stock.
- Near the Play button there are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
- The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
- The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for social sharing and reading game developer information.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button to select a card and drag it where you would like to play it. You can also click on the reserves stack to deal another card from it.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to select a card and drag it into position.
      - Controls & indicators
        The stock is in the upper left corner and the 8 foundations are to its right.
        The top of the right rail of the game shows your current score and remaining game time.
        At the bottom of the right rail there are 5 buttons to pause the game, undo moves, control game sound, control game music, and switch to full screen mode.
        Game Play
        Deal
        This is a 2-deck game of Solitaire where 40 cards are dealt to the tableau face up across 10 columns and the remaining 62 cards are dealt to the stock.
        Modes
        Easy: You can move cards already in the correct sequence as a group & you can redeal the stock.
        Casual: Only one card at a time can be moved, but you can redeal the stock.
        Normal: Only one card at a time can be moved and you can not redeal the stock.
        Tips
        Your optimal play strategy depends largely on which mode you are playing.
        If you play on easy, then the ability to bulk move cards and redeal from the stock means you can play fast and dirty making errors along the way.
        As your difficulty level increases you must have a more refined approach to the game.
        Try to build an open column on the tableau early in the game so that you have flexibility with your other moves.
        You can select a card and drag it off position to see which card is underneath it.
        This is particularly useful if you have an open column on the tableau and are trying to determine which card(s) are best to move there.
        Scoring
        Each card you move to a foundation is worth 500 points.
        Each second you have remaining when you complete the game is worth 3 points.
        While the game has a 15-minute time limit, that time limit is simply for the time-based score bonus.
        You can complete the game in over 15 minutes, but will not earn any points for bonus time.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Forty Thieves Solitaire card games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
