How to Play

Play Pyramid of Love online for free. Pyramid of Love is a timed 40-stage version of Pyramid Solitaire with unique board layouts and Jokers. Match card pairs which sum to 13 & clear the tableau before the timer runs out. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the Play button near the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level scores.
- Underneath the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
- The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
- The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for social media sharing & reading game developer information.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use your mouse left click button to select a card & then select another card which sums to 13.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to select a card & then select its matching card to sum to 13.
      - Controls & indicators
        The reserves are near the waste pile near the bottom of the screen, with Jokers to the right of the waste pile.
        The game controls are in the right rail.
        At the top are buttons for sound control & music control.
        Next the game shows your current level number, level score, and remaining level play time.
        At the bottom there are 4 buttons for pausing the game, undoing moves, restarting the level, and switching to full screen mode.
        The level select screen shows your total game score & the score you earned on each level.
        Game Play
        Deal
        This game uses a standard 52-card deck along with 3 Jokers on each level.
        The board layout changes dramatically from level to level, with any card that has cards atop it dealt face down & any card with no cards above it dealt face up.
        Playing
        Tableau
        Pair cards which sum to 13.
        Q-A, J-2. 10-3, 9-4, 8-5, 7-6.
        Kings are removed individually.
        You can pair together 2 cards from the pyramid, or pair a card from the pyramid with the card atop the waste pile.
        Reserves
        Each level has a unique number of reserve cards & 3 Jokers which can be played any time.
        Reserve cards can be matched with cards on the tableau.
        Jokers can be thrown at any time and match with any other card value.
        Levels
        This game has 40 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
        You are given three minutes to beat each level.
        If you run out of cards or time you fail the level.
        You can select Try Again to continue your game on the current level, or select End Game to submit your score to the high score list.
        If you replay a level it will have the same board layout on the retry.
        General tips & strategy
        Play Kings as soon as you can as it does not adversely impact your ability to make other plays since they are removed individually rather than as part of a set.
        Try to work on the portions of the tableau with the most cards underneath a card so that you open up the board quickly & give yourself many potential matches for each card from the reserves.
        If the tableau has portions of the board which are dealt face up with no cards underneath them & portions of the board which have many face down cards underneath them you should not pair off the face up cards with each other & reserve those cards for making progress clearing out the face down portion of the tableau first.
        If there are no matches on the deal and if you draw a couple cards from the reserves and do not make any matches then don’t be afraid to use a Joker or two early in the game to help open up the board.
        Scoring
        Your game score is cumulative across levels.
        Each pair which sums to 13 is worth 100 points while Kings are worth 50 points.
        Each Joker you have remaining at the end of a level is worth 500 points.
        Each card you have in the reserves at the end of a level is worth 100 points.
        Each second you have remaining on the timer when you beat the level is worth 5 points.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Pyramid Solitaire card games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
